First annual NGO–Government meeting

On the 29th of January, HopeNow participated in one of the two annual NGO–Government meetings in Odense alongside Reden International, AmiAmi, and CMM. The meeting focused on the new Danish national action plan against human trafficking, casework, data, and how we can continue strengthening our collaboration.

We heard updates from the Ministry of Environment and Gender Equality, CMM’s annual statistics and court cases from 2025, as well as progress on Denmark’s National Referral Mechanism. A joint NGO working group also shared important work on improving shared data practices and strengthening professional alignment across organizations.

We value these opportunities to exchange knowledge, deepen partnerships, and continue building stronger, more coordinated efforts to combat human trafficking in Denmark.
