The Danish Government launched the new National Action Plan to combat human trafficking (2026–2029).
Last Friday, the Danish Government launched the new National Action Plan to combat human trafficking (2026–2029). We were honoured to be part of the launch with Michele Mildwater and Tia Walters in attendance. We thank the Ministers for Equality and Justice with their remarks today who highlighted the vital importance of our collective efforts and for recognizing the critical role NGOs play in the anti-trafficking work in Denmark.
At HopeNow, we are proud to continue our central role in supporting and empowering victims and survivors of trafficking through our outreach work and services in the new action plan. We look forward to collaborating with our partners at Reden International, AmiAmi, the Center against Human Trafficking, the government and the police to combat trafficking in Denmark.
