2025 DATA

2025 was another impactful year for HopeNow. Thanks to the generous increase in donations, we were able to expand our work and strengthen the support we provide to people affected by human trafficking and exploitation. This growth was also made possible by the addition of a dedicated team whose commitment has helped amplify our impact even further.

Throughout the year, HopeNow worked closely with 367 vulnerable individuals, including 175 women, 149 men, 2 transgender persons, and 41 individuals whose gender was not specified. Among them, 200 people were new clients, reaching out to HopeNow for support, guidance, and protection.

Outreach and Direct Support

HopeNow continued to meet people where they are through regular outreach efforts. In 2025, our team conducted 89 street outreach activities, connecting with individuals who may otherwise struggle to access support services.

Practical assistance remained a crucial part of our work. Over the year we provided:

  • 288 food packs

  • 96 transport allowances

  • 86 hygiene product distributions

We also supported clients in other practical ways by providing health and hygiene products, bicycles, clothing, phones and phone top-ups, educational materials, and online learning opportunities.

HopeNow also assisted clients’ families overseas 23 times, helping cover urgent needs such as healthcare, education programs, and training opportunities.

Building Community and Well-Being

Beyond emergency support, HopeNow prioritizes community, stability, and mental well-being. In 2025, we organized more than 92 social activities for clients, including shared meals, cooking events, cultural gatherings, café visits, trips to museums and the zoo, nature therapy walks, and board game cafés.

These activities help create safe spaces where people can reconnect with others, reduce isolation, and rebuild a sense of belonging.

Counselling and Emotional Support

Access to psychological and emotional support is essential for individuals who have experienced exploitation or trafficking. In 2025, HopeNow provided:

  • 187 in-office counselling sessions

  • 150 outreach counselling sessions

  • 245 phone counselling sessions

These sessions allow individuals to share their experiences, receive guidance, and begin the process of healing in a supportive and trauma-informed environment.

Looking Ahead to 2026

We are deeply grateful to all the partners, donors, volunteers, and supporters who make this work possible. Together, we can continue to provide the support, protection, and hope that so many people rely on.
